STILLE ("we", "our", or "us") operates the STILLE mobile application and the website stille-app.com (the "Service"). This page informs you of our policies regarding the collection, use, and disclosure of personal data when you use our Service.

1. Information We Collect

We collect the minimum amount of data necessary to provide and improve our Service:

• Account Information: When you create an account, we collect your email address and authentication credentials (via Apple Sign-In or Google Sign-In). We do not store passwords.
• Usage Data: Meditation session duration, streak data, and preferences (language, sound selections, timer settings). This data is stored to sync your progress across devices.
• Subscription Data: If you subscribe to STILLE Pro, payment processing is handled entirely by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store). We do not collect or store credit card numbers or payment details.

2. Information We Do Not Collect

• We do not collect your location data.
• We do not collect health or biometric data.
• We do not access your contacts, photos, or other personal files.
• We do not track you across other apps or websites.
• We do not sell your data to third parties. Ever.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Sync your meditation data across devices
• Verify your subscription status
• Send you important service updates (only if you opt in)
• Improve the Service based on aggregated, anonymized usage patterns

4. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored securely using Supabase, which uses industry-standard encryption at rest and in transit. Your data is hosted in the European Union in compliance with GDPR requirements.

Local data (timer preferences, sound settings) is stored on your device and is not transmitted to our servers unless you create an account for sync purposes.

5. Third-Party Services

We use the following third-party services:

• Supabase: Database and authentication — supabase.com/privacy
• RevenueCat: Subscription management — revenuecat.com/privacy
• Apple App Store / Google Play Store: Payment processing and app distribution

These services may collect information as described in their respective privacy policies. We do not share your personal data with any other third parties.

6. Your Rights (GDPR / DSGVO)

If you are located in the European Economic Area (EEA), you have the following rights:

• Access: Request a copy of the data we hold about you.
• Rectification: Request correction of inaccurate data.
• Erasure: Request deletion of your data ("right to be forgotten").
• Portability: Request your data in a machine-readable format.
• Objection: Object to processing of your data.
• Restriction: Request restriction of processing.

7. Data Retention

We retain your data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal data within 30 days. Anonymized, aggregated data may be retained for analytics purposes.

8. Children's Privacy

Our Service is not directed to children under the age of 13 (or 16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. We will notify you of any changes by posting the new Privacy Policy on this page and updating the "Last updated" date. Continued use of the Service after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
